Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir reached in Pakistan on Thursday.
The state minister, who was before expected to visit Pakistan on March 1, will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
When making the statement relating to the minister’s visit, Qureshi said reporters that the Saudi envoy is visiting Pakistan with a special message from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
On Wednesday, the Pakistani foreign minister had thanked Saudi Arabia, among other nations, for their participation in easing the situation between India and Pakistan.
The minister is expected to talk about the regional situation, in light of the mounting nerves between Pakistan and India over the last two weeks.
