Pakistan’s 134-member contingent participates in Special Olympic Games

Pakistan’s 134-member contingent will take part in Special Olympic World Summer Games scheduled to be arranged at Dubai and Abu Dhabi from March 14, 2019. The opening ceremony will take place on March 14, 2019 at Dubai.

Special Olympics Pakistan Vice-chairman Anees ur Rehman is going to lead the contingent in UAE grand sporting event.

Pakistan players will attend cycling, powerlifting, athletics, bocce, badminton, table tennis, football, tennis and futsal events during the grand sports event. Prior to mega event, Pakistan contingent is going to take part in practice sessions and warm up matches at Sharjah.

DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar has shared his hope that Pakistan Special Olympic contingent will offer reasonable performance in the forthcoming Special Olympic World Summer Games.

Special Olympics Pakistan Vice-chairman Anees ur Rehman showed his gratitude to DG Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar for facilitating Pakistan special athletes in best possible manner within training for the grand sporting event.
