Pakistan A stun Iran in beach volleyball

After losing to China in their opener, Pakistan A made ripples when they beat Iran 2-0 on the opening day of the Asian Under-21 Beach Volleyball Championship, which exploded into action in Roi Et, Thailand, on Friday. Iran, a powerful volleyball nation, was unable to provide much resistance to Pakistan, in spite of their two top players Afaq and Zarnab, who have a lot of experience in international circuit. The scores were 22-20, 21-13. Pakistan A lost to China 0-2 in their opener . Pakistan B lost to Singapore and Indonesia. On Saturday, Pakistan B will face Oman.
