Buzdar instructs better healthcare, facility of medicines in govt hospitals

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has instructed the authorities concerned to make sure better healthcare features and facility of medicines at all the government hospitals across the province.

Presiding over a conference at his office here on Wednesday to evaluate the performance of health field, Usman Buzdar guided the ministers and provincial assembly members to check out hospitals and present their suggestions for carry additional development in provision of healthcare services to public.

He said that air ambulance service project is getting introduced for timely going the patients in dangerous conditions to hospitals.
Similarly, a 100-bed hospital will be begun soon in Punjab Institute of Mental Health to treat the addicts, he declared.

He suggested that lots of laws including the medical teaching institution act are being announced. The students from tribal regions will be able to have admission in medical colleges on reserved seats, he added.

It is satisfying that quality healthcare facilities have been offered to the poor people through Sehat Sahulat Program, he included. Health Minister Dr.Yasmeen Rashid said that health division will provide 30 thousand anti-rabies vaccines while the 15 thousand vaccines will be provided to southern Punjab.
